SEQUENCE OF APPLICATION

1. Foundation

3. Powder (to set the two)

HOW TO APPLY

• Dip a foundation brush or sponge into your foundation and dab a bit onto your cheeks, nose and chin and around the borders of your face. Apply the foundation using inward strokes, blending the foundation toward the center of your face.
  
  
• Apply some of the foundation left on your foundation brush or sponge below your mouth and just above your lips, giving you a starting palette to work from when blending it all together.
  
  
• Stipple (pat the area firmly with the brush or sponge) the remaining foundation on your brush into your hairline, adding one to two streaks of foundation across your forehead (horizontally) blend this in a circular motion.
  
  
• Rub the same brush or sponge in circular motions around your entire face, helping to blend and set the foundation into place. Move the brush or sponge in circles to smooth your foundation. Do so around your entire face two to three times to thoroughly blend the foundation.
  
  
• Apply additional cream products if you like, such as liquid highlighter or blush.
  
  
• Allow three to five minutes for the liquid foundation and cream makeup to set before completing your makeup routine, applying loose powder with a puff applicator or powder brush

• Use a FOUNDATION BRUSH when applying liquid foundation for a silky smooth finish
• FOUNDATION BRUSHES are easy to clean under warm running water using a mild shampoo
• LATEX SPONGES will give you a flawless finish when applying a cream foundation
• Replace your LATEX SPONGES regularly as this will prevent bacterial build up
• Remember, if you are going to be using a cream blush, bronzer, or stain - then these would be applied before setting your make-up with powder. Experimenting is best as some of these products might still function well on top of powder
• Always MOISTURIZE your skin before applying foundation. Start by cleansing your face and washing your hands and then patting them dry, apply moisturizer to your face and let it absorb in for at least 10 minutes. Then, apply your foundation. Remember to apply your foundation in a brightly lit room where you can see very well, to assist you in noticing any parts of your face where the makeup hasn’t blended in with your skin tone and where you might need to touch up. A little foundation goes a long way. It’s better to start with less and to build it up to the coverage you want. It’s easier to slowly add product than it is to take it away
• If you wear makeup regularly, it’s important that you also exfoliate your skin. Pores get clogged up with sebum oil, and skin tends to get dry and flaky – this will ruin your foundation application by discolouring it and changing its delicate formulated texture. This in turn, will prevent the product from gliding across your skin as intended during application. As a general rule, exfoliate your face at least once a week and always one day before any special event where you really want to look great
